The Mandelbärli are the light and fluffy mascots from Bern, and for all those who can't get enough of the little ones, there’s MUTZ. Since 1596, the hour bell of Bern's Heiliggeistkirche has been adorned by the dancing bears that served as the inspiration for the Mandelbärli. Everyone is also familiar with the clock tower’s “Mutz” bears, who’ve been busy making their rounds at the Zytglogge every hour for centuries. These bears guard the beautiful city of Bern and its sweet traditions. I’m the almond MUTZ, and I was created as a treat for young and old with even more almond-sweet lightness.
